We recently hosted our first Doing Business with Finland seminar in Namibia. The event was very successful with over 100 participants and 30 "matches" made between Finnish and Namibian companies.
The seminar concept has been developed by Finnpartnership, a Finnish organisation promoting business activities and partnerships, while also making positive development impacts. The purpose of these seminars is to find business partners for Finnish companies in the target country.
"We wish to build bridges between Finnish and Namibian companies and organisations. If we are successful, it will have an impact on the economy in both countries," said Ambassador Pirkko-Liisa Kyöstilä in her opening remarks.
The focus of the seminar was on Agriculture, Cleantech, Education, and ICT. The event was organised in Windhoek on 19 April 2018 together with Finnpartnership, Business Finland and the Namibian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Over a number of years, Finnpartnership has collected business partnership initiatives from developing countries for Finnish companies to use. Their free Matchmaking service is a path to these initiatives and contacts.
The best way to stay informed of the opportunities offered by Finnpartnership and the most recent companies seeking Finnish business partners through the Matchmaking service is to subscribe to Finnpartnership's monthly newsletter.
